Gracious and Loving God,
Help these young men and women to be a light for all the world to see,.
in all the places they live and work. Let their light shine for all peoples:
for their families,
for their church communities,
for their cultures and societies,
for their economic and political systems,
for the whole world.
Coming into the room where the disciples were gathered after the resurrection,
"Jesus, your son, said: Peace be with you!" (Jn 20:21),
Make these men and women bearers of Christs's peace.
"Blessed are the peacemakers,
Teach them the meaning of what was said on the mountain:
for they shall be called sons and daughters of God" (cf. Mt 5:9).
Send them, Father, as you sent your son:
to free their brothers and sisters from fear and sin.
We ask this of you, in Christ's name. Amen.

The Office of Young Adult Ministry serves as a source of community, spiritual growth and support for those between the ages 18 and 39. We believe in the irreplaceable value found in faith-based communities, and are inspired to offer a place of fellowship to all young adults in our diocese, whether student or graduate, single or married, with or without children.
We gather together to learn about our Catholic heritage and grow in faith, both through events and informal get-togethers. We assist in planning and publicizing events and activities, offer advice and serve as a liaison and advocate for all young adult Catholics within the diocese.
A COMMUNITY OF WOMEN FINDING PURPOSE IN CHRIST Radiant, a ministry of OSV, is a platform for women in their 20s and 30s who are rooted in their identity in Christ and are striving for a vibrant life on this side of heaven. Single gals, married women, mothers, religious sisters, working women, etc., contribute an array of articles about spirituality, relationships and culture, all from the perspective of young Catholic women living out the Faith in our world today. Radiant also provides these articles each Saturday through their free weekly e-newsletter. Sign up today to receive faith-enriching content. |
