Visiting Deacons

We welcome deacons from outside the Diocese who are considering moving to Pensacola-Tallahassee because of family or retirement.  Assignments will be given by the Bishop of Pensacola-Tallahassee based upon the needs of the Diocese as he perceives them.  Contact is to be made with the Office of the Permanent Diaconate prior to moving to the Diocese so that initial information on seeking an assignment may be given.  Deacons who are coming into the Diocese for a period of less than six months will not be granted the faculties of the Diocese to function unless it is for the celebration of a sacrament or to assist at a funeral.  To contact us, click here.
