Trinity House is a nonprofit program that offers transitional housing and services for homeless senior men, 62 years of age or older who have a desire to secure permanent independent housing. Services offered at Trinity House include counseling in life skills, personal finance and developing / maintaining measurable goals.
Trinity House is a Catholic ministry; however, we are sensitive to all religious faiths and accept participants from all traditions or no faith tradition.
In response to the growing need for affordable housing and to combat homelessness, Trinity House LLC started developing in the Fall of 2024 a small community of nine tiny homes known as Trinity Village. Trinity Village will offer these homes at affordable rents to individuals experiencing housing insecurity. The target population for Trinity Village is senior citizens. Senior citizens are one of the more vulnerable segments of the population experiencing housing insecurity. Our seniors are on a fixed income and are slowly getting priced out of housing by the rising costs of rents or home ownership. Rising property taxes, insurance rates and the expense of home repair/maintenance are exhausting the financial resources of our seniors. Trinity Village will offer these tiny homes at affordable rents to seniors. Trinity Village will also offer case management and mentoring services to support residents in their personal growth and ensure they maintain sound physical and financial health. Assistance will be provided in acquiring identification cards, driver’s license, social security card/benefits, food stamps and any other services offered to senior citizens.
