The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops recently released a statement on the new COVID-19 vaccines, which provides insight into the moral considerations of inoculation for believers. Were the vaccines developed using aborted fetal cells? Is it morally acceptable for God’s people to receive them if so? The issue is complex, but this statement provides ample faith-based counsel.
