Effective July 1, 2018, many of our priests will assume new assignments throughout the diocese. Please pray for these priests as well as their parishes and school as they move through this transition. And don't forget to congratulate them!

Like many people in our country, I am distressed at the sight of children being separated from their parent(s) at our borders. While understanding the need for our country to regulate migration and protect our borders, my brother bishops and I believe that we can and must do better.

A former bone-crushing fullback in a women’s professional league is set to take her final vows in Ohio later this month to become a Franciscan nun.

The Fortnight for Freedom, which we’ve been celebrating each year at the end of June and beginning of July has recently been reconfigured. Beginning this year, Religious Freedom Week is to be held annually June 22–29. The observance is a bit shorter, but no less important. This year’s theme is Serving Others in God’s Love.
