The Rite of Election took place today at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Pensacola where 110 Catechumens became 110 Elect as they continue their journey to receive the Sacraments at Easter!

At the Red Mass held on Wednesday to conclude Catholic Days at the Capitol, Dale Recinella received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontiface Cross. The Holy Cross Pro Ecclesia Et Pontifice medal is given for distinguished service to the church, and is the highest Papal Honor that a lay person can receive in the Catholic Church.

On Sunday, a Jubilee Mass was celebrated for couples celebrating anniversaries of 1 year, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, and then every year after, with 66 years of marriage being the most celebrated.
