June 15, 2023The Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee is happy to announce that we were recognized during the awards ceremony at the Catholic Media Conference in Baltimore. The list of awards are as follows:
First Place for Best Use of Social Media: Office of Communications - Sharmane Adams, former director of communications, and Derek Diamond, communications specialist
Third Place for Best Diocesan Video Fundraising Appeal: Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, “Catholic Sharing Appeal 2022” - Sharmane Adams, former director of communications
Third Place for Best Reporting of Social Justice Issues – Call to Family, Community and Participation – The Catholic Compass, “A Story of adoption – richly blessed by faith and family” – Sharmane Adams, former director of communications
Honorable Mention for Best Reporting of Social Justice Issues – Life and Dignity of the Human Person – The Catholic Compass, “A spiritual awakening – facing the unknown” – Sharmane Adams, former director of communications
