Enter into Advent with our diocesan advent calendar

With the busy-ness of the Christmas season, it can be difficult to find ways to truly enter into the season of Advent. So many presents to buy, trees and houses to decorate and Christmas treats to bake. 

But the month before Christmas is a special time of preparation as we await the coming of Jesus Christ at Christmas. 

Check out our diocesan Advent calendar for ideas on how to make the most of this Advent season. Some are as simple and quick as saying a prayer for your parish priest or thanking a volunteer at your parish, and some take a little more time, such as volunteering at a local soup kitchen or writing a Christmas card to someone in the military.

Whether you are able to do every single daily activity or only one a week, we encouage you to print out our Advent calendar as a reminder that as we prepare our homes for Christmas, we are also preparing our hearts for Christ.
