Although we are saddened that Mass has been suspended in order to keep our loved ones safe from COVID-19, many of our churches are offering Mass through live stream via Facebook. Bishop Wack will be celebrating Palm Sunday Mass at 10 a.m. CT. Other virtual Mass times are available at https://ptdiocese.org/parisheslivestreammass. We are praying for all during this time.

Florida’s Faith and Community Leaders,

As you make plans for this important week of faith, please see the official statement below regarding the governor’s executive order and religious services. Governor DeSantis recognizes that this year will look distinctively different than last year, but our hope is for spiritual unity and social distance during this unique season.

The state is not closing churches, temples or any other place of worship. However, Governor DeSantis strongly encourages all people to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Fortunately, many religious leaders have found effective ways to follow those guidelines by utilizing technology. We appreciate these efforts to identify other means to connect spiritually particularly during this season of Passover and Easter.
