St. Joseph's Altar

Buona Fortuna Lodge, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Society of Pensacola and Historic St. Joseph Church, invites the community to the St. Joseph’s Altar Celebration on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Historic St. Joseph Church (140 Government St., Pensacola). The event begins with 11:00 AM Mass, followed by a communal spaghetti meal ($5 donation) and the St. Joseph’s Altar display, a cherished Sicilian tradition honoring St. Joseph, patron of fathers, families, and workers. The altar will be decorated with baked goods, fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and symbolic offerings, reflecting gratitude for St. Joseph’s intercession during hardships. Guests are invited to visit the altar, learn its significance, and enjoy a meal in the spirit of unity. All are welcome, regardless of religious background. $5 suggested ​donation for ​lunch.
