Fr. Phil Fortin, pastor of Immaculate Conception, invites you to a two-day reflection on the nature of forgiveness and reconciliation. On March 31, Blessed Sacrament welcomes Fr. Phil Fortin as the 7 p.m. Mass Celebrant. His message will continue Monday evening, April 1 at 6:15 p.m., and April 2 at 6:15 p.m. before the Penance service at 7 p.m.
"The metaphor of bridges is a common one in our faith and reminds us that we are all called by Christ to be peacemakers and missionaries, not just in our community but in the world. But sometimes bridges can be more than a spiritual metaphor. Other times, emotional distances of forgiveness more real than any bridge, and even hard to build. Crossing that seeming insurmountable gap of forgiveness is a challenge of our Church and its people. A challenge only made possible by Christ.” - Fr. Phil Fortin
