As Hurricane Dorian continues to cause devastation in its relentless path up the coast of the United States, we are now seeing how catastrophic this storm was – especially in the Bahamas. The destruction there has claimed many lives and left families homeless and in despair.
The generosity of so many people last year when Hurricane Michael made landfall in Panama City and surrounding areas was humbling and much appreciated. Recovery is still underway. Now it is our turn to help another community. The Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee will be making a monetary contribution to our neighbors for the recovery efforts in the Bahamas and elsewhere.
