This booklet, "A Catholic Driving Tour of Northwest Florida," has been produced as part of the Faith Engaged! Sharing Christ's Message since 1559 initiative . The intention is that this booklet can be a starting place to encourage people to delve more deeply into the rich heritage of faith that has sustained and nourished the residents of this region since 1559. Printed copies of the booklet will soon be available in parishes, Catholic schools and at chambers of commerce and convention and visitors' bureaus within the diocese.

They include maps, by deanery, of Catholic points of interest in the 18 counties which comprise the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee.  Each parish is listed, along with a very brief bit of parish history. Space did not allow for more thorough inclusions of parish history, but each parish is highly encouraged to enlarge upon what is listed in the booklet. Also included are other locations important to the Catholic heritage of the region, such as Mission San Luis in Tallahassee and St. Michael Cemetery in Pensacola.

A brief history of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee and a prayer for travelers that asks the intercession of the diocese's three patron saints (St. Michael the Archangel, St. Thomas More and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton) round out the booklet
