The Accounting Office, as part of the Secretariat for Governance and Finance, serves the diocesan departments and the parishes. We are responsible for paying the bills of the diocese, expensing them correctly, collecting funds from the parishes, depositing them and correctly recording the receipts.
We produce the financial statements of the diocese, and process the withdrawals from the parish savings accounts. We send the monthly statements out to the parishes and answer their questions regarding the statements. Although the insurance billing invoices come from the accounting office, questions regarding the insurance (both P&L and medical) should be directed to Jean Ori in Finance. Also, any questions from parishioners regarding their CSA contributions would need to be directed to Brendan Foster. Nicolas Bray works with the parish bookkeepers, answering their questions regarding the posting and review of the parish books.
